Glen Rose

Glen Rose is best known as the “Dinosaur Capital of Texas” but has much more to be discovered in this quaint small Texas town with a historic courthouse square, and surrounded by hills and rivers. Dinosaur Valley State Park features some of the best-preserved dinosaur tracks in the United States and is easily accessible by visitors. The park offers hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails, as well as campsites, playgrounds and access to the Paluxy River. Fossil Rim Wildlife Center is one of the most noted wildlife conservation preserves in the country, works with a number of endangered species.
